Black Caucus Foundation's 49th Annual Legislative Conference

Join the National Medical Association (NMA) Professional Development Series to be held on September 11 during the Congressional Black Causus Foundation (CBCF) Annual Legislative Conference (ALC).

 

During CBCF ALC, the NMA Professional Development Series (PDS) is a one day forum designed to enhance the educational underpinnings of physicians, healthcare providers, and all professionals interested in promoting health equity. The format will include panel and keynote presentations discussing inequities and disparities in key areas, and systematic approaches to promote wellness through prevention and management of disease.

 

Professional Development Series discussion topics include:

  • Diversity in Medicine
  • Precision Medicine
  • Environmental Health
  • Social Determinants of Health and Big Data
  • Low Value Care
  • Violence as a Public Heath Issue
