WHO ATTENDS?

The AATS 102nd Annual Meeting is targeted towards cardiothoracic surgeons; physicians in related specialties including cardiothoracic anesthesia, cardiology, pulmonology, radiology, gastroenterology, and thoracic oncology; fellows and residents in cardiothoracic and general surgical training programs; perfusionists; non-physician health care providers involved in the care of cardiothoracic surgical patients; and medical students with an interest in cardiothoracic surgery.

Booth assignments for 2022, according to priority points, will begin the week of October 11, 2022. This is your opportunity to lock in premium exhibit space.

The American Association for Thoracic Surgery utilizes a priority point system to assign each exhibiting company a priority booth selection number. Your booth selection number is based on your company’s history of exhibit participation in the Annual Meeting, good standing in the Association, and the number of exhibit space units contracted. Only the past five (5) years of points are used to determine booth selection (2017- 2021). Assignments for the 2022 AATS Annual Meeting to be held May 14-17 in Boston, Massachusetts will begin the week of October 4, 2021.

The AATS Aortic Symposium Workshop Boston and Mitral Conclave Workshop Boston will immediately precede the AATS 102nd Annual Meeting, May 13-14, 2022.

Both meetings will take place at the Sheraton Boston, which is connected to the Hynes Convention Center.

The Aortic Symposium Workshop Boston focuses on the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and treatment of aortic aneurysms and dissections. This Workshop targets cardiovascular and thoracic surgeons, residents, perfusionists, ICU, nurses, and those involved with the care of individuals with aortic disease.

The Mitral Conclave Workshop Boston brings the latest available data, techniques, and state-of-the-art reviews in mitral valve disease. Management guidelines, imaging, pathology, minimally invasive approaches, percutaneous approaches, surgical techniques, devices, and long-term results in patient care will be discussed.
