The APTA is, for the first time, hosting a “Step to the Beat” Walking Challenge during the 3 days of CSM 2018. Stridekick, our Step Challenge partner, will be signing conference attendees up to participate in this group challenge, with a goal of 100,000,000 steps by the end of the conference. If we hit our goal, APTA will give $10,000 to Shoes4Kids, a nonprofit charitable organization consisting of local businesses, churches, community organizations partnering together to provide new athletic shoes and mentoring programs for fatherless and at-risk children and their families.
Recognition on 3 post-conference survey emails to attendees
Logo on a “step to the beat” walking challenge landing page on the CSM microsite; this page will also link from all conference emails
One LCD leaderboard in a general area of the conference center showing sponsor logo/support
Badge stickers for all participants with sponsor logo; participants can go to any APTA or sponsor booth to receive their sticker
Separate meter boards placed around conference center encouraging sign-up with the sponsor logo, including one at the “step to the beat” sign-up booth.
Lead retrieval in booth for tracking participants for sponsor
App alerts on conference app to remind attendees to participate to include text recognition of sponsor (minimum 3 push alerts)
Social media posts (minimum of 2 on twitter, 2 on Facebook) about the program to include recognition of sponsor
