2017 APS Annual Meeting Sponsorships

Attendee Lanyards - $3,500 (exclusive)

Hang on to every attendee by branding the badge lanyards that everyone must wear at the meeting. This can include your company’s name and/or logo. Recognition will also be made in the program book and on sponsorship signage.


Mobile App* - $5,200 (exclusive) or $2,500 (up to 2 opportunities)

The Annual Meeting app will have your company’s brand right at the attendee’s fingertips. Your logo will appear on the splash page. Marketing research shows that people often need multiple “touches” for you to make an impact. Let the Annual Meeting app aid you in driving traffic to your booth and your website. Additional recognition will be placed in the Program Book.


Self Check-In Computer Sponsorship - $1,500 (exclusive)

Have your company logo appear on the screen when attendees walk up to the self-service registration kiosk. The sponsor will be responsible for providing a logo and a design for the screen saver. Recognition will also be made in the program book and on sponsorship signage.


Registration Confirmation E-mail - $2,000 (exclusive)

Your logo will appear at the bottom of the registration confirmation that is sent to all attendees confirming their registration. Recognition will also be made in the program book and on sponsorship signage. Confirm your sponsorship as soon as possible to get maximum exposure.


Annual Meeting Travel E-mail - $2,000 (exclusive)

Your logo and booth number will appear on the travel e-mail that is sent to all attendees prior to the meeting. Recognition will also be made in the program book and on sponsorship signage.


Table Sponsorship for Literature - $1,500 (exclusive)

This opportunity will allow you to place your product/service information on tables located in the poster and exhibit area for a specific day. Recognition will also be made in the program book and on sponsorship signage.


Exhibit Hall Wi-Fi - $6,000

Keep the attendees connected and keep them coming back into the exhibit hall. Your logo will appear when they request the connection. Your company name can be set as the password. Recognition will also be made in the program book and on sponsorship signage.


Plenary Session Chair Drops- $1,950 (exclusive)

Have your information placed on the chairs of the Plenary Session. Sponsor will be responsible for printing the information. Literature must be approved by APS. Your name will appear in the program book and on sponsorship signage.


Giveaway Tuesday - $150

Help us encourage attendees to move around the show floor and interact with exhibitors. An employee from your company will randomly draw the winner of a prize (supplied by you) from a pool of business cards that you have collected during the exhibit hall hours. The prize must be worth at least $100.


Photo Area - $2,500

Take a picture with a scene from San Antonio (Alamo) and the company name included on the back drop or the photo strip if we get a photo booth.


Coffee Coupons - $2,500

Offer the attendees a coffee coupon to grab a cup of Joe. This sponsorship includes 200 coupons that will include your company logo. You will be recognized in the program book and on signage. Attendees will also know that there is a limited number of coupons for coffee.


APS Attendee Challenge - $250

Be a part of the challenge to encourage attendees to visit your booth to answer the question on the Challenge Card. Attendees will be encouraged to complete their card and they will be entered into a drawing to win a gift card. APS reserves the right to cancel if participation is low.


Meet and Greet with Jack Bobo - $2,000

This is the opportunity for attendees to meet with Jack Bobo the Opening Keynote Speaker. The sponsorship will include an exclusive invitation sent by APS to all attendees to meet Jack Bobo in a location to be determined. You may be present and hand out your company’s information to those attending. You will also be recognized on signage and in the program book. You can also provide food and beverage to those who attend.



   “Patho Forum” on the Exhibit Floor


Book Signing with R. James Cook - $2,700

This exclusive sponsorship designation will be included on meeting signage about the book signing of “Untold Stories: Forty Years of Field Research on Root Diseases of Wheat” written by R. James Cook, invited speaker of a 2017 “Phytopathologist of Distinction” (POD) talk. The signing will take place in the “Patho Forum” area on the exhibit floor at a designated time. A message will be included in an attendee e-mail listing the sponsor and announcing the book signing. Stickers will be placed on each book announcing your support. Limited complimentary copies will be available for the signing on a first-come, first-served basis.


Color Your World - $1,500

Sponsor this activity in APS Central and have attendees color your logo (or a picture of your choice) and bring it to your booth for a special giveaway.


Product Demonstrations - $750 for current exhibitor/$1,200 non-exhibiting company.

This area will be for companies who wish to demonstrate their product or service. Each “session” will be 20 minutes in length and will include seating for up to 50 people.


Create Your Own Activity - $TBD
